Mulch Installation
Beds edged, weeded & topped up
Mulch does two jobs in Florida: it holds moisture in the bed through a dry spring and it keeps the weeds down. Neither works at the wrong depth. We pull the weeds out by the root first, cut a clean edge so the mulch stays in the bed and off the lawn, and lay it two to three inches deep — kept back off the trunks, because piling it against bark is what rots a tree from the collar down.
Our Process
Free Estimate
We measure the beds, agree the mulch type and colour, and quote the yardage in writing.
Weed & Edge
Weeds come out at the root and a fresh edge is cut so the bed has a defined line to hold to.
Spread
Mulch goes on at an even two to three inches and is worked around the plants by hand, kept clear of the trunks.
Clean Up
Walks, drives and lawn are blown clean, and the leftover bagged material goes with us.
